Indu Varanasi has been at the head of her design firm IR Design for over a decade, with her team recently relocating to Dubai Design District. While IR Design started working in the retail industry, Varanasi also provides company branding for her clients to ensure the designs are consistent with the new corporate image. Implementing 'design consciousness' in all of her projects, Varanasi has worked on numerous mid-size shopping malls, offices, F&B outlets and hotels. Varanasi and her team completed the design of Academic City’s Amity University in Dubai. As a next step in progressive growth and expansion, IR Design has worked on projects in Tanzania and Oman.
